New Hope for 2020

By Rev. Violet
New Hope is arising in me as I sit outside Starbucks in the sunshine with 70% plus temperature in Durham N.C. on Dec. 28. What an unexpected blessing. Winter has begun and people are walking around in their shorts and relaxing as the New Year, 2020 is almost here.
My personal life has been on my mind in recent weeks and I have been reminiscing, and looking in the rear -view mirror at the events of 2019. That like the sunshine is very refreshing.

On Dec. 18, 2018, one week before Christmas, I moved into my new home in Durham, something I did not dream was possible. One year later with a variety of experiences behind me, I can see how so many ideas I have incorporated into my life have provided new beginnings for me. That is exactly what I intended for myself when I moved from the country into town where I could be close to people, grocery stores, restaurants, and the conveniences that living in the city offers. The switch hasn’t always been easy, but it certainly has been worth the effort.
I have been setting new intentions for 2020 as a part of the plan for my life. I have been learning to be more patient and compassionate with myself and with others. The loving ideas that I am working with include self-care which incorporates coming together on common ground with all life as my continued intention to nourish my life and fill it with purpose.
As a Spiritual Mentor, I work with recent Scientific findings and integrate them into Spiritual Concepts, I have used to guide me for many years.
For example, the way I look at Life makes all the difference. The choice is always mine. I can look at life coming from a sense of weakness and conflict or I can choose to see it as something very special. Something I honor and respect as I move into my 2020 future. I humbly choose to respect the nature of the GREAT LOVE that fulfills the whole of life on planet Earth. I intend to trust the process of becoming a newer, more fulfilled, more confident, ever evolving, version of me. I am grateful for my life vision, which integrates my version of 2020 for me, and my human family and all of life on the planet. I enthusiastically look forward to a prosperous adventure this coming year. I am grateful for my new experiences and everybody else’s as well. Thank you, GREAT LOVING SPIRIT, for including all of us. I am pleased and I am grateful. And so it is. And so shall it ever be.
